About the project

The digital twin mimics the physical system, enabling analysis, testing, and simulation of the system in a virtual environment. The development of a digital twin for the shop floor of the Hands-on Engineering Lab is an essential step toward improving the design and manufacturing processes. A digital twin is a focused application of the CPS that provides more practical values and details on implementation. It is introduced as a pragmatic way for seamless integration and fusion. As a part of a research and development project, I was tasked to prepare a concept for the design.
