About the project

Plunger pumps use a reciprocating plunger to pressurise water and force itthrough the outlet valve. The plunger is attached via a connecting rod to a rotor.As a part of the internship, I modelled a Hexplex Plunger Pump using Solidworks.2020 and rendered it using Solidworks Visualise. This complete assembly hasover 700 components. And these components were modelled as well asdrafted such that it is ready to be manufactured. From this internship andproject, I got to learn a lot about GDNT and tolerances.
